I hate how people all over youtube still say things like "Yeah but take it to a track and the Mustang will get creamed, American cars are only good in a straight line." Then I promptly direct them to Motortrend's review where it almost beat an m3 on the track.. lols
Well actually my wife bought one for me but that's another story.

Overall agree with the above. And for most people who bring the cars out on the track, it's largely the driver, not so much the car, that makes fast laps. I've beat up on Audi R8's and then in another session been beaten up by an R8 driven by a much more experienced driver. Same goes for various other cars... Could barely keep up with a Lotus Elise but then kept pace with a C6 Z06 at Watkins Glen (which is a track that rewards high power cars).
Anyways, I'd happily take a M3. It was out of my budget. Mustang was a fantastic deal and I love it.
