This 2014 GT really gets my attention on Hemmings auctions
I never heard of this edition and I find it very interesting. The auction on Hemmings just started so I will be curious to see the results and bidding along the way. https://www.hemmings.com/auction/201...s%20Newsletter
This 2014 Ford Mustang GT is a one-of-one, special-edition example of the iconic pony car’s 50th anniversary model year. This David Ragan Signature Edition car, also known as “the Courage Mustang,” was prepared by Automotion Customs and made appearances at several NASCAR events as part of a sweepstakes promotion. In addition to pro stock car racing driver David Ragan’s signature, it features performance upgrades, a custom interior, and a 3dCarbon body kit. This very car is pictured on a Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) coin commemorating the Mustang’s 50th anniversary, one of which is offered as part of the sale. Though the car has traveled the country, it shows fewer than 1,000 miles on the odometer. Its current owner reports that this unique Mustang GT “has won awards at car shows and presents as very dynamic and outstanding in appearance.” The CARFAX vehicle history report shows an accident in October 2014, when the car was still in the original dealer’s inventory.

Hmmm.... No bids as I write this. It is a 'reserve' auction so the price could be way too high. I don't see it mentioned but I bet if this was a 'no reserve auction there would be plenty of activity.

Well I'm a little shocked to be honest, unless there is something I can't see or read. $20,000 was the highest bid which is silly low for a car with under 1,000 miles. He is asking $27k outright at the moment which I think is very fair. I have a feeling I am missing something. Perhaps that accident when the car was in inventory?? Maybe it was serious.
I'm Thinking Spending is Very Slow Here Recently Due To Economics. I Know My Ebay Sales Have Dropped To Nill Although I Have Watchers Up The Wazoo. I Know I Decided I'm Not Making any Major Financial Changes Till After The Changing of The Guard. I Think A Lot of Folks are on Hold! That's All I Will Say to Keep The Peace!
Edit.
Of Course Now That Being Said I get a Sale But it Was My Least Expensive Faux Pony Badge!
Oh and I Dropped Off The Votes and My o My I Have Never Seen So Many Homeless in My Short Drive. A Wonder The Local Target Has Any Shopping Carts as it is The Cart of Choice Here Locally.

^^ I think you are right, and the timing is really bad. I listed minor inexpensive oil cans on ebay this week thinking many people will not be in the buying mode. Next week I will be back to listing my regular and more expensive cans. It's just a hobby for me though since I've been collecting so long.
Yeah depending on how bad the accident was, the car is worth $25k at least. I think two things hurt it from going higher: 1) it's not really a special edition. 2) it's really bad timing to sell a Mustang.
If I get my car autographed by a race car driver does that make it a special edition? I don't think so. I think of special editions as factory built cars that were sold in low numbers. That's not what this is. And secondly, February to April is the prime time to sell an old Mustang. I found that out last year. Listed my very nice '13 GT Premium for sale in September at a very competitive price. Got NO interest at all. Crickets. Months went by. Nothing. Finally, in February when spring fever started to affect folks my phone started ringing. Interest got big in the car. It's all about timing. (I ended up not selling it because I was t-boned the day before a guy was coming to test drive the car...that's also what you call bad timing!)
