sieran thanks for the pics. Certainly looks awesome. Now a couple questions. Im assumeing that is with the halo color of blue, can you change the gauge color like in the 13 how you can have the halo one color and the gauge color another? ALso, dont the pony projector come standard on the premium?

 

Yep, i can change them to any color I want. The picture does not show it very well (was some quick shots, didn't play with the camera settings) but the halo is a purpleish color (i set this one manually) and the numbers are ice blue. Then i have ice blue as the accent lighting.

I think the pony projectors do come standard with the GT premium.

 

Pony projectors only come with the comfort package.

The gauges look really clean now for '14.

 

gauges do look very clean i agree. Just saw that he had the comfort pkg. which explains the pony projectors. I opted for the leather recaros instead So it looks like we just get to get the halo and ambient lighting and cant change the gauge color?

 

Doh, sorry. Thought they were with the premium package.

The Recaros look nice though... with the problems i am having finding a comfortable driving position, it would have been worth it.

 

haha no biggie i always get confused to with what packages you can get with another and what packages you cant. Is your gauge color sent to white or is that the only standard gauge color and you can only change the halo ring. And by gauge i mean the speedo numbers.

 

Thanks for the pics Sieran. I have an order in on a 2014 400A/Track/Recaro/Camera and I was thinking I'd have to get some BlackCat gauges with Boss302 font because the speedos in the '12 and '13 I drove were just horrendous to read. That is much clearer.

Question. Is ambient lighting (doors, cupholder, etc) part of the 400A, Comfort, or Electronics Packages or did I have to order it on its own? Not that it's a dealbreaker, but I'm just curious. Also, what colors in the interior can I change with the limited options I ticked?

 

Im pretty sure as long as you got a "premium" imustang gt i think thats 400A if im not mistaken it comes with the the ambient/cup holder lighting. it doesnt come with the pony projectors though however since you got the comfort pack you WILL get the pony projectors as well as heated seats and i think a shift ball instead of the thumb shifter. Im wondering to what colors you can change the ambient lighting to and if you can even change the gauge color as well as the halo! Hope that helps and answers your question

 

Ambient lighting is standard on the Premium trims. You get the ball shifter with the 401a interior package. If you're not sure, just take a look at the order guides that are stickied at the top of the 10-14 section.

Yea agreed. 13's look better at night. 14's look better during the day. I guess I'm 50/50

 

Is the pony projector a brighter bulb on the 14 or u got a better camera than me , that looks **** bright

 

I didn't have my tripod out, so it is a bit blurry with a longer exposure. It looks brighter in the picture than it actually is in person.

 

I shut off my halos and go with green for all of "my color" adjustments. the 14's look sweet with the new hash marks, and I don't have a boss - but I have the quad exhaust so i have the best of both worlds don't I? lol

ford has made some nice improvements from the 13's, I'm glad ya'll are enjoying your new 14's
