I don't know if anyone else has expressed their opinions here but I think it just downright SUCKS that you can't get this package on a 5.0 trackpack. Laaame. I mean, i know it's not much (mirrors, wheels, spoiler, louvers) but that just got me fired up when I read that.

 

I want to see how it looks first but sounds interesting.

 

OK, but the 8.5" coffin wheels aren't compatible with the Brembo front brakes and you can easily add the other items...

Calm down, Frances. As a guy who has Boss specific parts on my GT, I have no doubt you'll be able to buy the pieces a la carte.

A Ford "friend" who told me a couple weeks ago that the black appearance package will kind of mimic the look of a Boss 302 without blatently looking like a Boss 302 clone.

 

uh oh...this is not going to sit well with some folks here. To some, it is against all things holy to clone a Mustang with any parts that make it resemble another model.

 

So all Mustangs now mimic the GT500...and some will also mimic the Boss (that you can no longer buy).

Sure...why not?

With gloss black mirror covers and rear spoiler matching the gloss black on the coffin wheels, most will not confuse this with a Boss 302, especially with the louvres.

 

Like I said, the package will "kind of mimic" the look of the Boss 302. I didn't say it would look just like a Boss 302. The Boss 302's used several black pieces, as well. Similar theme, different look.

 

the only thing the same is the black wing. my mirrors are body colored (as they should be)
