Exclamation 2014 ACM Reprogram using IDS

Question for everyone.

I have a base 2014 mustang gt. I went in and replaced the body floor harness and the under-dash harness with one out of a California special. I also went ahead and bought an ACM out of a 2014 Premium GT.

My current issue is my ACM recognizes my AM/FM, CD, and Sirius; however when I click on the "Aux" button, literally nothing happens.

According to my Ford Tech, he has to go through the APIM/Sync Module (which I don't have since I have a Base GT), but I disagree. Based off what I have found online, it seems like if I give him the VIN number off of a Premium GT, he just needs to go to the Motorcraft website to obtain the 727 codes and then he can program my ACM to get my Aux function working.

I am missing something or is this correct?

According to this thread, "Module reprogramming with IDS" it seemed like they were able to program just the Aux In without having to go through SYNC module/APIM

Is this under the center console or behind the glovebox?

It should be behind the glovebox, I think.
