Thanks!!! Yes I heard the Pirellis are back ordered Hope ford resolve this soon. There are to many people waiting for their rides. I think they need to spend more resources on the availability of parts and the whole delivery process.

 

After doing a couple months worth of research and searching dealer lots I finally decided to order a 2013 V6 Pony to replace my 07 V6 that was recently in an accident.

I wanted the Mustang club front end but they won't build it in black so I figured I would swap it out with a CS or Roush grille later on.

The only options I added are Premium, Auto trans, Pony Package and 3.31 gear ratio. And tape stripe delete, I'm not too fond of the new Pony Package tape stripe.

This is my first time ordering a vehicle direct, so I hope everything goes smooth.

 

Nope, yours will be finished tomorrow. Therefore, it’ll be a 2013.

According to the blend date it should be finalized on October 11...

Hopefully it will get here befor end of the month so I can drive it a bit before it goes to hibernation, Yes here in Canada we put the Mustang in storage for the winter (Nov-May).

 

Says you! I'm driving mine all year. (I'm in Toronto, so the snow is usually pretty minimal anyways)

 

Unfortunately it's not the case here in northern Quebec..

With the heavy snow, salt and now the small gravel they use for abrasive which is terrible for paint chips

It' stays in the garage

Traded my '06 Mustang in today and my order will be placed tomorrow for a '13 GT Convertible! Now the waiting begins...

 

OMG! My salesman e-mailed me an update on my order, and my new stang already has a VIN and is scheduled to be built the week of Oct. 22nd. That's incredible, because I ordered just two days ago!

 

I wonder if that is a record? Deysha what do you think? I wonder if he just found a match for you somewhere else? Congrats!!!

 

You don't know, but Deysha could have worked some of her magic on my order that we'll never know.

 

I ordered my GT500 on 4/4/12. Received VIN in late August. Build date was 9/17/12 then got pushed to 9/20. Car was shipped 9/24 and I received it on 9/27.

 

Just got my DORA from Jeff (05fordgt) and sent you a PM Deysha. Very excited to be buying my first new car, a 13 GT Premium to replace my 01 Camaro!
