Thanks guys. When I got the car it was overcast yesterday. Today I saw it in the sun and I was so giddy. It looks amazing in the sun. Ford is doing a great job with its colors.

 

I ordered 2/17...still radio silence. I cancelled my order and am just going to try and buy something that comes into a dealer or maybe say F it and get a boss at this point, too frustrated to wait any longer

 

Did you get the 3M film installed yet? Any plans to
add splash guards or a side splitter? I'm debating what
to get to protect from rock chips due to the sticky tires.

 

Phew, just finished washing, claying and synthetic and carnuba waxing her... I'm pooped!

No joke those tires are sticky!! Fortunately the car comes with GT500 mud flaps. I am saving up for the clear bra. I'm not going to do 3M, they are inferior. They orange peel and they wrinkle. I had a bad experience on my 12. There are 2 other brands that are good, Ventureshield and xpel. I got quotes ranging from1200-2000! I'll probably go Ventureshield since its more established and a bit cheaper. I'll do the full hood, pillars, front end, blackout panel and perhaps rockers. Gonna be effin pricey with a clear bra and tint..

 

Holy crap that looks awesome! Mine is Deep Impact too, and now I can't wait to see it in person!

 

I just got in a DIB GT/CS!! Car was built a while ago, and sat with the QC holds. Its filthy, but still looks amazing!!! Once its cleaned up, I'll post a few shots of it and the other car that came in, a SG MCA V6!!!

 

I don't know about your location, but here in Northern Virginia they are not staying on the lot for too long. If you see something you like, you'd better grab it before someone else does.

so jealous, congrats!! how do you like the leather recaros? I wanted a base with the cloth recaros...but at this point I just want a car and theres a DIB premium available not too far away, considering picking it up this weekend.

Thanks man! I love the leather. I wish they were suede like the boss and Shelby, however this is second best. I used to think it would not be a good combo since the leather is slippery compared to cloth, however they hug me well. I have taken some quick turns and I was planted in place. Plus they look so great with the white stitching!

 

Did anyone get the 401A package? That's what I ordered, but I've never seen a picture of the interior of an actual car with this package. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person in a couple of days.

 

So Deysha sent me a PM, and I called my dealer who told me I can pick her up tomorrow.

Congrats Wheelman! That looks sweet. When I ordered the Grabber Blue I had never seen it in person but it rocks. It looks really great with the black.

 

What were the QC holds? My GT has been sitting at the factory since 3/20? Dealer says he cannot reveal the "hold" issues, a matter of confidentiality with Ford. I WANT my car and I want it NOW - typcial American that wants instant gratification!!!

 

Hmmm... I thought only fleet cars had the LED strips light up as DRL? I just noticed in the reflection of the car in front of mine that the LED strips in the headlights are always on when driving. Or did I misunderstand what that was referring to?
