I'm back from my 4 days off!! Went to the NY Auto show Friday and saw some great cars!! Anyone who is getting a GHIG Mustang is gonna be in LOVE with that color!! Its fantastic in person!!! Saturday consisted of house hunting with my fiancee. That was a fun day. I enjoyed seeing all the different house layouts. Sunday we're always closed and Monday we were closed for Easter. So I'm back if anyone has any questions.

Its great to see the cars are finally rolling out to everyone.

Ooh, and I almost forgot, our Ford Rep emailed our fleet manager and gave me the news. I am getting 2 2013 GT500s in this year!! One is already sold to a forum member. I already pm'ed a few members about it. If they don't want it, its open to order to spec. Any questions, let me know.

 

I'm waiting on my window sticker to show up too. I beleive they are running a few days before build so I'm waiting until the end of the week before I get antsy. Do you have a specific build date yet? If it is later in the week you may not have a sticker until next week.

 

Deysha hasn't got back to me yet so no eta or build date I called customer support but they were trying to sell me the car more then telling me where its at
Welcome back, how did the gt1000 look?

 

Window stickers show a week before build. My sticker showed up 4.5 with a build date of 4.12. My original ETA was 4.19, but after a build date was set, it was pushed back 9 days, to 4.28, which is typical from what I understand.

Would that happen to be the guy I sent your way? Just curious how things turned out for him.

 

Still on ramp 5P I would gladly pay Ford $100 if theyd let me drive it out of the lot right away

 

I got you beat! My GT was built on 3/19 and released on 3/20 for shipment. Still sitting at the factory, waiting for shipment.

How are you guys checking for Vin?

I found out I was using the wrong link for the longest time. I'll link mine and just replace it with your vin:

I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't some kind of hold at the plant although I would think if it was released from plant it would seem to be more of a transportation issue.

Hard to say. Mine is supposed to be here today but I'm doubtful of it showing up. It was released from plant 3/31

Is the the standard reply when the sticker simply isn't ready yet? I beleive they said window stickers were showing up any time from a week to just a few days prior to build so I am not getting impatient at this time. My build date is 4/16. Carly Simon said it best!

 

Random question just called Ford and they told me my eta was 4/24 but with a build week of the 16th that doesn't seem to add up.

does delivers from flat rock to south florida really only take a few days seem pretty dang fast?

Not your fault Deysha. But, you would think that Ford would want to ship ASAP and get the vehcile into the hands of the customer that is paying cash! Also, make more room at the plant for the newly built vehcles, that are rolling off of the assembly line in record numbers, I hope.
