2013 GT500 - fastest selling car in the US

Not sure how they work that out......but it's a nice headline all the same![Smile](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
However, given most dealers have a very small allocation, and those allocations will have buyers lined up against them, I'm surprised they even "sit on the showroom floor for 11 days"
I think Gary's GT500 wheels barely touched the showroom floor before he picked it up

I've just read at the new section of this website that Jeremy Clarkson will use a GT500 from Wembley to Milan. The other 2 (Hammond & James....) will take a train. They will race.
Talk about good publicity for the Stang...

If the thing was a freakin' Capri w/ a trinity motor he would probably give it better reviews.

I really think he'll have good things to say about the GT500 this time around...it's the closest thing to his love the Ford GT
and we all know this new GT500 is a lot differant than the old one they drove a couple years back

I'm not going to worry about it. I will watch and enjoy, but its just entertainment. They say things for shock value at times. You have to take it with a grain of salt.

II guess it is the fastest selling car outside the US as well. All 2013 GT500's (4 cars) allocated for our Ford dealer were sold before they even arrive here!
A local trader is also importing GT500's from the US and selling them fast.

Great - an opportunity for that goon to go on and on about how much American cars don't meet his arbitrary demands. But we'll see if he's lightened up (probably not).

If you know Jeremy, you know that everything he says has to be heard through a certain filter. He'll never compliment American cars like he does European or some Japanese, but that's who he is. It doesn't mean he doesn't like many of the American cars he drives. He simply downgrades them from the start because of where they come from; they'll only ever be so good in his mind, and that's fine. He's not the most technically savvy car guy, but he knows what does and does not feel good from the driver's seat--something every "car guy" is familiar with. I don't mind his points of view, and I'm certain much of that is part of the show itself.
