Good show, so he's still around. Haven't seen him post in a while though.

He'll be getting a call from me again when the redesign Mustang comes out.

Good luck with yours.

The Wifey ordered her GT Vert with the reverse sensors. I just glad Ford is using color coordinated sensors instead of the plain old black ones.

You know I looked for a while for my car......found all the options I wanted (3.73's & HID's)didnt want (glass roof, auto or convert) but the car had Reverse Sensors and I was bummed at first! HOWEVER, after having them now for a few months, it actually comes in handy and they blend in pretty well on the '12's black in the rear fascia.

On another note...there's no way in hell I'd pay that much for the "Track Pkg"!! Only thing in the pkg I would want is the rear diff...the tires/wheels would be changed anyhow!

Security pkg is worthless too cause the "locking" lugs weigh more than the other lugs so it causes a vibration when driving! I took mine off after a week!

Just trying to help those with their future ordering from a current owner!

If I was gonna order one again it would be this: Cali Spec - Manual w/ Recaros & 3.73's...no other options! Not sure on color though....hmmmmm

Since youre ordering after production has begun, expect a VIN in about two weeks or so, then a build date a week or so after that, which will be a week or so later, then about 2 weeks for shipping after build. So about 6-8 weeks.

You can get a Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC) pretty quickly from your dealer and/or a DORA (dealer's copy essentially confirming what youve ordered) a few days later. You can check for a window sticker online (dont have the link right now) which will have your build date on it when available.

The track is definitely something i should consider, but for now, i just need to try not to be so anxious in waiting for my car!

Thanks for the information, hopefully my dealer will keep me in the loop like they said they would.

The Track Package Includes the Brembos, and is only $800 more. That Diff. online is like $5-600. Installation would be probably $400. You just saved $200 and got the pads, radiator and oil cooler, and its all warrantied. Track Pack is a good deal in my eyes......If you want Brembos....

I agree. It was a no brainier. as far as the security package... We live in a twisted world, there are so many jealous people who will do anything. Even in the oc area I am still doubtful of an areas safety. For me it is essential. Track pack wasn't essential but hey, why not?? Hehe.

The car pictured in my first posts was brought to service to be prepped, and came out with the pass side led strips not functioning....hopefully just a loose wire or an isolated issue.

Oh, you know, water goes into the engine bay, happens in a normal car too, comes up from the bottom. Part of owning a vehicle i suppose.

Do you truly believe rain is going to hurt the engine?

Rain already gets in via the grill and other air passages into the engine bay. All the electronics in the engine bay are sealed, and you can spray a hose on the engine bay without issue.

I know, I want a set so badly. I would mount them to my power tracks I have in the car now, and probably add some aftermarket heaters to tie into the factory system.

I will eventually have a set. They're amazing looking.

I'm going to Ford Carlisle in June. I'm gonna see if Ford Racing will be offering a discount and if so i'm ordering them puppies.
