Anyone know if the Recaros from a 13 GT will bolt right in to a 11 GT/CS? And if so, do they use the same seat tracks? Also are the Recaros, Power and heated?

Don't know why they wouldn't and I'm 99.99% the Recaro's are nothing but manual.

Manual, no seat heater, leather in premiums and GT500 only. Not sure about years but would guess theyre the same, but maybe see if you can find different tracks for different years on fordparts or somewhere.

You can swap the Recaro seats onto the power tracks though.

Then you would just have to add some aftermarket heating elements and hook them up to the stock switches.

Here in Socal boss is about 10k adm. Boss LS is 25-30k adm. Midwest a boss ls is retail. Effing California dealers... I do know of one who sells at retail tho

All seat tracks use the same mounting points and fit all years '05-'14
wiring & connections vary by yr & model

they will bolt right in, the wiring may or may not depending on your car but that can easily be modified

That IS true, but I think if you people who are ordering recaros want heated or power seats, maybe they should get standard seats. They would be way happier with them. The ones on my premium were pretty comfy and the lumbar adjustability was pretty snazzy. I actually hate power seats and I don't need heated seats, especially in southern California and my car is alway garaged. Recaros are great because you set them once and leave them. Plus they are god awfully good lookin and comfy for me!

I heard Recaros have different tracks so are you saying that the tracks just mount up the same or that Recaros could be used on standard power and/or non-power seat tracks? Im curious because Im interested in Recaros for summer/track and keeping my regular seats the rest of the time. Will swap tracks if I have to, so that is good news that they'll mount up right if tracks are needed, but it'd be even sweeter to just unbolt/switch/bolt.

A member on a different forum bought some, and bolted the seats into the existing power tracks from his car. So they were powered in the same sense the stockers are.

He just didnt have heat or lumbar.

Woot! No need for heat in summer/track for me and no need for lumbar in Recaros, methinks. Thanks!

P.S. Got a link by chance? Just curious to see it.

Not currently, but I never thought of it really, never have had a car worthy of tracking.....there's a couple tracks within reasonable distance.

Anyone have any idea when I'll get more info on my order, I asked the dealer but not sure if theyre giving me bs. How does the timeline typically go?

Never thought about much either until recent years when I finally realized there are so few good stretches of decent, open road around where I live. Now that Ill have something worthy of tracking, Im concentrating on driving skills, which is turning out to be way more interesting than expected.

Since youre ordering after production has begun, expect a VIN in about two weeks or so, then a build date a week or so after that, which will be a week or so later, then about 2 weeks for shipping after build. So about 6-8 weeks.

You can get a Vehicle Order Confirmation (VOC) pretty quickly from your dealer and/or a DORA (dealer's copy essentially confirming what youve ordered) a few days later. You can check for a window sticker online (dont have the link right now) which will have your build date on it when available.

Unfortunately no. There might be one in the 2013 retrofit thread.
