2013 GT/CS

Got a question for fellow GT/CS owners.

Did your car come with locking lugs?
I have the locking lug key but none of my wheels have the locks.
I thought that the locking lug kit was part of the security and safety (back up sensors) option. Well my car doesnt have that option but they put the lug key and 4 extra lug nuts in the pouch.

So is this only an option or was the GT/CS supposed to come with locking lugs?

Mine came with them. If I remember correctly they were in the trunk.

Just a factory option. You don't have any reverse sensors? what's your VIN out of curiosity (to see the sticker)

Its funny cause I have the pouch with the locking Key with the print out and it came with 4 extra lugs in the pouch with the key as if they took the lugs off and put the locks on the wheels.

I have the key and the kit, but it's never been put on. They don't do it from the factory. I might do it when I get my Torq Thrusts on the car.

Mine were in a plastic white bag in the trunk, still not on the car.

Yeah in my case the car went right from the truck to the porters to wash and prep, to having the keys in my hand in a single afternoon.

The wheel locks are part of the reverse sensing and security package and that isn't an option on the GT/CS.

Many dealerships (mine included) put locking lugs on every car when they come in.

Out here in CA, there have been rashes of stock wheel thefts recently - You would be hard pressed to find a dealership that doesn't put them on at this point out here.

We don't charge the consumer for them or the clear door edge guards that we install.
