In the GT Brake Performance Package (55D)

Can anyone shed some light on what exactly the "unique ESC Module Tuning" actually does?

anyone compare this to the stock tune?

Does it affect the use of 87 octane over 91 octane? or require 91?

 

ESC module tuning has nothing to do with engine tuning. ESC is the Electronic Stability Control, so it is all about traction and yaw control. I believe that the Brembo Pkg has more lenient ESC intervention as opposed to the more intrusive ESC in standard GT's.

 

just realized this today.

Sales guy at the dealership was telling me the Track packs come with engine tunes.
BUt after going over the order guides again...ESC...is not the same as ECM...lol.

Would you know what the "Unique corner modules" are?
still haven't figure this one out.

 

Brakes I assume. Either that or the advance track tuning to allow for more sideway action.
