2012 Vibrations

I recently bought a 2012 GT, when I bought it it drive just fine, no shakes or vibes. Last week I noticed it vibrating at 65-70 mph, but not a steering wheel vibe. If I cruise control at 65-70 it will vibrate the whole car for about 2 seconds then smooth, then vibrate, repeating this the whole time. I just got the tires balanced and alignment done after my drop springs... What could be causing this?

I'd replace the driveshaft and associated joints.

Now would be a good time to get a one piece driveshaft.

Just adding my experience and it may or may not improve with a driveshaft change. Been fighting that same problem for almost a year. Replacing the driveshaft (under warranty) was the first change and it made absolutely no difference. YMMV

I've chased this saga with two mustangs, and currently have it on my 14 GT. Mustangs are extremely sensitive about tires with regards to quality, material, shape and tread due to the EPAS system and the constant computerized corrections it makes to adjust the steering rack, keep the car straight and account for cross winds which most of the time are not even there. A boss 302 Ford Racing steering rack will help greatly due to the raw, performance oriented programming it uses. Its much less invasive.

The tires that come on these cars are usually garbage (minus the eagle f1s)

Driveshaft or u joint wont fix anything. I can promise you that. I have aftermarket driveshafts on both.
