Hi everyone, I am picking up my car next week and i ordered the 2012 black mustang v6 premium with the club of america package, interior upgrade package and performance package.
Can anyone tell me how many speakers come with this car that i ordered and if there are subwoofers included? i know it has the shaker 500 but im not sure what else comes with this sound system.
also can anyone tell me the rms and watts?

Small subs in the door speakers.

No idea about the output, not a lot though.

 

thanks, i am fairly new to the mustang world so i was not sure. i saw some people have subs sticking out in the trunk area... i wasnt sure if that came stock or if it was added..... i know some cars come stock with subs in the back.

 

Yea the ones with subs out back from the factory are the shaker 1000 system.

No prob, and i may be a lil bias here but you should give kicker subs a try! I git 2 10" comp series subs with a 500 amp powering em AND my stock speakers and head unit (2002 gt) and they definitely get the job done. Evryone thinks i have 12's with a 1000watts goin to em

 

None of that junk makes the car go faster or handle better though so who cares...

That's where you're wrong. If you point the subwoofers towards the back of the car, turn it up really loud and have the right track playing, you will get at least 1HP!

 

According to Ford, the Shaker 500 Audio System comes with AM/FM stereo, single-disc in-dash CD, 8 speakers, MP3 capability and 500 watts
