My 2012 comes in next week. I had checked with the sales manager as to any other discounts but at the moment, ONLY the $750 discount sent to me by Ford will apply. He showed me the screen of the available discounts but the $750, at the moment, only applies.

That's all my dealer pulled up as well. Also there was lower financing rates or $500 plus lower financing rates. (ie 1.9% for 36 months -OR- 2.9% for 36 months plus $500)

You can see avail incentives on the Ford site...now no option of cash back on '12's at all, only the financing. (ie 3.9% @ 60 months)

for '11's, it keeps getting better...$1500 cash back or financing, w/is 2 points better on all terms than for the '12s

Me thinks your dealer is wrong, I picked up my 2012 on 5-2 there was a 500 factory rebate plus I had one of those 750 cupons.. When I looked today the 500 rebate is extended till 5-31. It might just be a VA thing, but I wouldn't think so..

500 is still valid for FL too.

I got the $750 coupon but it expires in late June. The dealer gave me an estimate of six weeks for delivery which I assume is aggressive so I doubt I will get my car before the coupon. I guess I'll wait a month or 6 weeks and try again. My wife will also be on the title so I assume a coupon for her is a coupon for me.

Bought it last night. Got the $750 brochure rebate, $500 dollar dealer rebate, and 2.9% APR for 36 months.

In regards to your post, When I ordered my Mustang the dealer told me that any incentives or rebates that were active at the time of order will be "locked in." He said that if the rebates were to increase I would get the higher rebate though. Basically your rebates can't get any lower since when you ordered.
Hi shane_atv,

This is Deysha from Ford Customer Service. I would like to help you track your Stang. Could you please message me with your order number and dealer name?

This is exactly what two different dealers told me just today. I ordered mine this morning - not the GT but still the Mustang (and better) that I have waited 25 years for!

Cars.com shows 6800 Mustangs in inventory nationally. Don't know how accurate that is, but, if true, that's less than 30 days supply going into summer. OY!

If that figure is accurate, then Ford won't have much reason to increase their incentives, to help sell Mustangs. An over abundance of inventory would improve incentives greatly.

I'm wanting to order a 2012 GT too. I was hoping for around $1,000 under invoice, but the best I've seen is a $100-$200 under invoice plus the $500 rebate, which doesn't qualify if one takes the better financing rate, and the $750 brochure money.

Another fun fact, the price on the Mustang and a couple other Ford vehicles went up $250 recently.

I just compared the build and price quote online and the prices did go up. MSRP of a GT Premium is now $33,310 and it was $33,045 when I ordered in March. Destination went down from $850 to $795 so the net difference from when I ordered is $210.

None of this lack of rebate-ness is good news for me, being on the bubble as I am about trading up from my '11 to a Sonic Blue '12. Gas is frickin' 4 bucks a gallon, you know? Where are the discounts?

I ordered a 2012 Brochure a few days ago (used the $750 coupon last year that came with my 2011 brochure towards my 2011 'vert). Am hoping that works out. Right now I am still frozen with fear...

That's my question too. With gas prices the way they are and the economy the way it is, $40,000 V8 coupes aren't exactly flying off the lots these days, yet dealers don't seem too willing to deal.

I take it that if your ordered car isn't here before the $750 brochure coupon expires, you're out of luck?

I just noticed the price increase today. Great.

I noticed it when I looked at my window sticker posted last week. 33310 for GT Premium. 795 for destination and delivery. Haven't looked at an invoice yet though to see if they just removed the $47 for fuel like the had. Wouldn't surprise me.
