2012 mustang convertible seals
Hello, first post ever here, about a year ago wife and i set out to buy my midlife crisis car, looked at hundreds of different cars types colors, we bough online without seeing it first, its risky but we did very ok.
we found a 2012 Mustang 3.7 convertible, yes its just a v6 but i dont need it to go fast i have those cars, the only issue i have is it leaks water around the drivers window, its like the seals have dried up shrunk and are not tight anymore, just like the wife and i LOL.
OK getting to long and personal but i cant seem to find any aftermarket companies to buy replacements for this yet, any help , thanks.

There are lubricants you can buy to help keep the sealing materials soft. I have no dealings with convertible tops but might think the door glass may be out of alignment by what you describe. Here's a link to an 05 and 11 service manual that might give you the info you needs for alignment issues. http://iihs.net/fsm/?d=0

Also, check the alignment of the window itself. I had to have the driver's window mechanism re-aligned in my wife's '13 convertible as it came from the factory to low at the rear of the window. Tech had the job done in 20 minutes, and fixed our problem.
