2012 last order date / incentives
Hello all!
According to a post by Five Oh Brian the Final MY12 orders are due by 1/12/12.
I noticed the current $2,500 rebate is set to expire 1/3/2012 (I'm in Texas).
What happens after 1/3/2012, will there be another filler rebate until the orders are due? Does the rebate go away? Will the rebate go up to move all the 2012's before the 13's come out?
Trying very hard to time an order right to maximize incentives and the $750 private cash back.
Thanks in advance!! Long time lurker and I love the site and the group of people on here. So much great information!

I thought there was $1500.00 worth the rebates? Where are you seeing $2500.00 worth?
I'm in the same boat trying to put a deal together before they run out.

Rebates vary around the country by region. The current rebates run through 1/3/12 (Ford runs them one quarter - 3 mos - at a time). 1/4/12 will likely bring the same (or better) rebates on the '12's to clear them out to set up for the '13's.

thanks Five Oh Brian!
Could the incentives to go $3,500 like they did on the 2010's?
A separate question: the advertising fee that dealers put on the invoice, is that something that can be dropped via negotiating? Truecar.com had $610.00 as the regional ad fee.

The rebates could move up. Its always a possibility. Don't go into it thinking it will. It may and that will be a bonus. If you order a car, you are guaranteed the national rebates from Ford as they have incentive protection program that the dealer can file IF the rebates were to go down. I have very rarely seen them go down in recent years. If they go up, you get more. The only rebates that sometimes cannot be guaranteed and locked in are private offers. Some can and come cannot.
As for the dealer advertising fee. That is on every invoice and its paid by everyone, even Ford employees. I paid it on my car back in 2006. It cannot be negotiated. Its not money the dealer gets on the car. Its what is added to the car to cover the region's adveritising costs for tv and such. Its that and the gas cost that is not listed on the Ford price list.
On a different note, don't believe everything truecar.com says. They are in hot water in Colorado with their AG right now.
Hope the info helps out alot.

Jaime, are you sure? Post your ZIP code and I'll double check. Every market has rebates on the 2012. I just checked a dealer in Iowa (Ankeny) and there are plenty of incentives on the car. PM me your ZIP and I'll check for you.

I had a $750 that expired while I was waiting for my car to be delivered
so I requested another brochure from the Ford website and got the
$1000 coupon. Good luck!

I was doing some Google Searching on the 2011 incentives ... seems the incentives got worse in Jan - March and then better again in April. Same thing with the 2010's ... I bought my 2010 in Feb 2010 and only got 0% financing. In April it went to $1,000 plus 0%. The 2012 Currently have $1000 + 0%. My guess is that the current rebates will stay on Jan 4 but the 0% will go to 1.9% or 2.9% ... Just a guess though ...
Non - Mustang cars have awesome deals right now ... Rebates + 0% + 90 days no payments.

Hey bud, they won't be out yet. Remember, alot of the Ford people who handle incentives are still off for the holidays. Two things can happen. They can change them completely tomorrow, or extend them for a week, until the people in charge of incentives returns to their offices and has a chance to see what changes will be done.

I'm hoping the incentives get better tomorrow. I really want to pick up 2012 GT. I ordered the brochure a while back and it never came. I'm gonna order them again and see if I get some private cash.
