Congrats on the '12 GT. I love the Yamaha emblem on the SHO! Few people seem to remember that Yamaha developed that engine for Ford.

Beautiful car! I never noticed the GB 401A package has blue stitching on the steering wheel. I like that! I guess not too many people on here have the GB interior though.

Thanks! The SHO is actually my wife's; she's done all the work to it. Right now with the tune it's got on it the redline is set to 7800, but if/when I get some stage 2 cams for it the redline will get set to 8500. It is pretty peppy! But the GT out-accelerates it handily... in 3rd gear. It's just insane.

What we don't have is a "comfort" mode which is the soft one
Sweet, I didn't realize sport mode changed the steering as well.

Oh, and congrats Hawkeye! Enjoy the ride!

Hawkeye - not sure if you have tried this (ref the door opener thingy) but I struggled with the same issue when we changed out our opener. I am assuming the new for 2012 door-opener is made by Homelink. Go to Homelink.com and that is your friend! You can navigate to the brand of door-opener you have and print out the detailed isntructions. Then sit in the vehicle with the printed sheet, and also do the ladder-climbing drill with them. I finally got it done...

Gret vehicle, keep us posted!

The manual refers to a Car-2-U system. I don't know if it's made by Homelink but I'll definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the heads up!

It's a Lear Car2U system... this website shows you whether you need a "conversion module" or not. Go here -> http://www.learcar2u.com/conversionmodule/ and type the model of the transmitter into the left. I need one with mine... so... that sucks, but whatever.

I'm gonna install CyanogenMod 7 on my Evo and see if the new BT stack on that fixes the syncing issues it's having. Once those are good, the car's perfect.

Cyanogen 6.1.2 fixed the bluetooth issue - it now syncs, downloads the phone book, and makes calls with aplomb.

I took some more night pics; the weather was crappy all day so I didn't take any day shots, but I figure clouds shouldn't affect night shots too much, right? Fortunately I have a Canon Rebel T2i so night shots aren't a big deal, so here ya go...

My 11 Shelby has 3 off/normal/sport

After seeing your pics, I think I'm going to go buy a nerf bat, head to Ford HQ, and genally make a nuisance of myself until they schedule my car.

I did take a pic... it's up there. I actually took it just for you, if you're the guy from the other thread I posted in. There is no visible wiring, and based on the size of the post of the visor I estimate no more than 2-3 wires could fit in it, which leads me to believe it's a simple power/ground feed into the visor, with all the circuitry internal to the visor. There's also a light in it that the wires feed.

I don't see any reason you couldn't swap the '12 visor into a '11 or '10.

OK, thanks for the feedback! Figures - every other vehicle in the world uses Homelink, guess this outfit underbid them by a few pennies. Every other Homelink system I have seen puts its controls in the bottom of the rear-view mirror, not the visor.

Guess this is not really a big deal though...

Looks great. Enjoy. Is that a factory clip for glasses on the passenger visor or something you added?
