2012 gt base pricing question

Looking at a 2012 base, brembo, 373 car. MSRP is $32595. I can get xplan with work and dealer gave me another $500. Told me $27279 plus 100 doc and tax. Does this seam like a good deal.

$5-$6K off a Brembo/373 '12 and the 13s aren't even out yet? Sounds like a hell of a deal to me.

The dealer can't "give" you anything on Xplan. The price is on the invoice and then the rebates are subtracted after TTL.

My question would be: Is the $500 a rebate combined with the low financing in lieu of the full rebate?

Looking at your post again, that looks about right. Xplan on the car is probably 30,779 and you are qualifying for $3500 in Rebates. So yes, that is a fair price. You could probably save a few hundred more on the price off the Xplan, but then have to pay the normal doc fee (xplan limits it to $100). So the gains are marginal and not worth the effort IMO.

Just for reference I am thinking of selling my 2012 Brembo with 5000 mi and they are only offering me 29-31k on trade, depending on which dealer i talked to. MSRP was almost 41k I paid xplan with a 750 rebate for 38900 in June. It's a premium int, with Nav. BBP, 3.55, backup camera and HIDs and Yellow Blaze. A lot more options for about the same amount of cash. I'd keep looking.
The deal seems fair, but not great.
