2012 3.7L Engine Codes P0455/P0457

Engine light came on a few days did a code read on it came back with:
P0455 Evap system Gross Leak detected
P0457 Evap System Gas Cap Loose or Missing

The first one based on some research and talking with a friend who had the same code thrown, I went ahead and replaced the Vapor Cannister Purge valve from Ford. And it did nothing the code is still coming up.

The second code I did a bunch of research and because my car has the cap less system it seemed like it might just not be making a proper seal. So I tried my best to give it a decent clean, used some compressed air to clean it out as best as possible and used the filler neck thing that came in the trunk to see if I could get some air onto the seal to clean it. It didn't work.

So both codes are still coming up on my scan tool, though the engine light is no longer coming on. Where do I go from here, any advice or tip are more then welcome!

Could be codes that are no longer present but were previously triggered? Only scan tool I use that I know works all the time is Ford's IDS I have had issues with other tools not clearing codes that IDS can.

When my car did this, I used a lot of WD-40 and the filler funnel from the trunk to fix the problem. It took quite a few funnel insertions to fix things.
