Without knowing how it's optioned out, it's not possible to say if you have a good price.

Maybe if it stickered for $32K...

Go to cars.com and search for one, deals are out there now since 2012's are on the way to the dealers now or very soon.

What does "out-the-door" include? Tax, license, fees? How much is the sales tax rate in your area? How much is licensing? Fees? You've left out a ton of info, so we can't help you without knowing more.

as stated without knowing what it was optioned with and if tax, title & plates are included it is difficult to give any info, But here is a link to a dealer I deal with all the time in VA, it will give you and others an idea about the discounts because of end of 2011 mustang run.. They are moving quick so if you want a 2011 in your color etc with the rebate or the low ford financing you'll have to move quick before the selection is reduced. If you aren't concerned with the rebate or financing the 2012s are only a few $$ more than the 2011s good luck

MSRP is 29,080 sale price is 23,995 without the taxes, title and plates

good luck

Depends. What does it come with besides the premium package stuff? Is it Rapid Spec 202a? Electronics package? manual or auto?

IS 28K out the door price?

Btw.. This website helps you see the avg price people pay around your area. www.truecar.com

What options does it have? My window sticker was $33,915.00. My out the door price was somewhere around $23,000 after trade-in, X-Plan and a couple of rebates.

Unbelievable! That's in the range of what I paid for my '06 GT (which right now has about 25K on her)...I checked out the MSRPs on some of the 2011 GTs at a local dealership ship and they range from the high 30's and into the 40's...geez, the cost of buying a V8 Ford Mustang has really gone up! Mustangers kept asking for a boost in HP to match the Camaro and with it Ford responded, but now they're asking way too much for the "working man's" muscle car. Ford used to pride themselves on a good V8 bargain...not any more... I've owned 6 Mustangs in my lifetime...I think my '06 will be the last...

I could have gotten a well outfitted Premium GT for about 26k after trading in my old Beetle for 3k (comfort, rear camera, automatic)... sticker prices are insane, but as soon as I started haggling they stopped trying to get me out of there for MSRP. I consider X-Plan pricing my "MSRP" and would only buy if it was less.

My mother got her '68 Mustang for about 2,500... that seems like a fair deal, I can't say that about ANY car out there today!

Was this in 1968 when gas was $.25 cents a gallon or less and a house cost $9500.00 ??
if so then things are about the same unless you consider how much "safer" the new cars are than a 68 though i would give my left... for a 68 vert or fastback !!

I call BS, there's no way a dealership was offering over a 9k discount on a brand new 2011 GT

My bad, that was the price with my trade-in (3k ****ty Beetle). I ended up not including it (got cash) and got the v6 for 23k.

Yes, I thought that was way too good for a deal...in any event, Ford has upped the ante (in horspower, etc., for the GT)...but like everything else in this world...you will pay for it.

The '11 GT's aren't all that expensive, unless you check off all the options. My '11 GT is a coupe with the Brembo Package & 3.73 gears. MSRP was $32K, I paid $29.5K less a $1500 rebate for a net price of $28K after rebate. After tax, license, and cash down I financed just $25K out-the-door.
