2011 Shelby GT350
Keep in mind this is a 'concept' version. There may be further tweaks.

I couldn't agree more. Some guys in a local car club here were fawning over Shelby, and all I could say was, "...not that great." They acted as though I had just insulted Jesus himself.
My dad (he's 51 and his first car was a '66 289 coupe) said he likes it. All of it. But then again, he seems to like everything these days. He loved the '10s too when they were released, diaper and all. He also owner a Mustang II Cobra, so who cares what he says
haha jk Arin!
I think they tried too hard on the grille. The 2010+ front fascia and fenders don't lend themselves to the retro look (well by retro I mean 1st gen Mustang, 64-66) like the 05-09s do. That front fascia would look a million times better with the more upright headlights on the 05-09 rather than the GT500 like slanted headlights. If they offer those parts separately, I'm going to get those tailight panels and match them up with Ford's Accessory blackout panel. Except I'm going to cut slits where the reverse lights are so they shine through, rather than tack on some foglights into the bumper and call them reverse lamps.
Idk. I am really disappointed. They should have called the previous SGT the GT350. It was closer in vain, especially with the optional SCs. This is just pure crap.

So, you can only get a GT350 "post-title." Meaning, you buy a new Mustang GT, then you have to ship the car yourself to Shelby and wait months for your car to be converted for an extra $34K. Good luck getting that extra conversion financed (the car yes, the conversion no), effectively limiting this car to cash buyers only.
Even if it's out of reach for some of us, it's still good to see what they are doing... Remember, high end versions are usually test beds for the rest of us. Let them prove out the 5.0 S/C'd and show us how durable the engine is right out of the box! That is assuming, of course, that they didn't forge the lower end...
Food for thought until we can get confirmation one way or the other...

Soooo... I was just looking at stock shares for Carroll Shelby International (CSBI)... They didn't budge with the intro of this car... Coulda been worse, they could have tanked like they did when Shelby introduced his new olive oil back in Nov...
Personally, I'd rather buy 2 2011 GTs for the same price as 1 EuroTurdGT350. This car is so ugly, it's not even funny... especially when they A/B it to the original car... What's with that rear??? Is there a 'mustang guy' who thinks that's what we've been missing???
Well, they certainly gave it a unique look, sort of. Not saying it looks good but at least it doesn't look like any other currently available Mustang.
If you read the specifications list there is nothing in there that would indicate forged internals. I seriously doubt Shelby American is going to pull the motor apart on a brand new GT. Not saying for what they are charging for this package forged internals should not be included but lately Shelby seems to be more about bolting on FRPP parts than doing any actual engineering much less internal engine mods. They have become a mod shop for owners who don't have the time, ability, desire (take your pic) to bolt on the parts themselves but are willing to pay big bucks for someone else to do it for them and then sign their dash. "Shelby" must be Texan for "Sucka".

Not bad looking... Would think the lower fascia should have a smooth, not tacked-on look for $64k+
