I sold my '68 GTO bench seat coupe in 1996, so it's long gone now.

Leather seats on 2011 GT

Does anyone know if you can get leather seats on a 2011 base GT (not premium)?

No leather available on a base car.

I think if you find one of his posts that his phone number at the dealership is in his signature.

Hey bud, thanks for the help. Sorry for delays, as we were closed on Monday and Easter Sunday, I don't do a darn thing. Only spend it with my girlfriend and her mom for dinner!! Hence the delay in my postings.

I have a dealer here who wants to sell me the car for $200 over invoice and I can use my $750 rebate.

I looked at the price sheet but it says "invoice (with holdback)" how much is holdback?

2011 GT Premium, 3.73, Brembo's or GT Base with 3.73, Brembo's. What would my price be?

Invoice with Holdback is generally known as "Invoice" so the price in that column is the price you would pay, before adding the 200$ and taking off the 750$.

I haven't spoke to my Ford dealership in person, but their internet sales guy sent me a price that is MSRP minus about $1780, still no where near invoice. I think they're making like 5,000 off the deal compared to invoice.

This is my first new car I want to buy, should I just go in there and demand invoice until I find a dealership that will do it? Haha thanks

Dealers don't make $5K on car sales, not on the front side anyway.

Well I didn't add in the "dealer" rebate they were offering me. With the rebate it might be more like a $3500 increase.

Hey bud, the markup in most decently equipped GTs is about $2,000 or so, give or take. Even close to $3,000 on a Vert with EVERY option. There is absolutely NO WAY there is $5,000 markup in a Mustang GT. Now, a GT500, yes there is.

I'm not saying I'm an expert at this.. I'm just saying they quoted me something that is $5,000 more than what the invoice spreadsheet shows. They may never have planned to sell it to me at that original price (that could be way they were trying to give me almost a $2k "dealership discount") but I'm just saying.

How is the x-plan technically calculated... that is, when you use it... how much of a discount can you expect to receive with it?

New to mustang ownership...well soon to be. I will be getting back from deployement around September and I was looking at the base V6. My question is can I order one with the upgraded breaks/GT sized breaks with a wheel combo? I have seen the suspension upgrade that is available and the specialized calipers???Are they truely bigger? I auto X a lot, well every car sence I was 16. From Alfas, F-Bodies, Intergra ITR, Vette with my dad...I know some of the factory parts will keep me in some of the stock classes around where I live wich would be nice.
Thank you for the help,
Philly

Hey bud, welcome to the Mustang fold. Thank you for keeping us safe!!! If you order a base V6, there are only one type of wheels you can get. If you want to upgrade, you can do it after the fact, either via the dealer you order from, or search for take-offs from GTs that were converted. Are you from the Philly area? If so, let me know. I'm only about 20 miles from the city. I can help you with an order. Stay safe buddy.

I just purchased a Mustang GT Premium 2011 and drove it about 300 miles already. Great car. I just have one question. I have seen pictures of this bar crossing over the engine under the hood but do not have that in my GT premium. I would have thought that would have come standard since it is in all the engine compartment pics on the Ford website. I bought a spec 400a Premium GT. Let me know if they were removed when it transit from one dealer to the next, or they are not supposed to be in the premium GT model. Thanks

This question probably should be in the general section but, only cars with 19" wheels come with the strut tower brace.

Thanks for the response. I love the car so far. It rides so smooth and is wicked fast when I step on it.
