I'd rather have the "GT" emblem on the outside. It's a Mustang GT, not a Mustang 5.0.

easy enough- I am sure they didnt tool up a new fender for 2011, so just pull off the 5.0 badge, and get 2005-2010 GT ones to stick in the same attachment holes. I am sure some 2010 GT owner would be glad to trade ya.

I also like the motor. Let's just have it for a minimum or No price increase.

AS per badging 302 wouldn't be bad.

I kinda like the 5.0. My 91 was a GT and it had the 5.0 on the sides.

I am totally with ya! I haven't been this stoked about a new Mustang since early 2004 with the new '05 coming out. 5.0 on the fender is all I need visually.

Dang, that's actually a good looking motor, close to the beauty that was Ford's best looking motor, the V6 SHO. This, I didn't expect, anticipating a functional but drab execution like the 3.7 V6. Man, seems like Ford is really getting serious about putting out some serious product, details and all. Looks like the era of good enough isn't good enough anymore and they're striving for genuine greatness.

I kinda been out of touch with the forum for a while now so I might not be up to speed with all the '11 info... anyway does anybody have any concrete info on pricing for the '11 model year? I am seriously considering a V6 for the first time ever and now after seeing real photos of the 5.0 I might go that way too... I'm thinking this new 5.0 may surprise a couple 07-09 GT500 owners!

No firm pricing yet. Don't expect a huge increase.

Thanks for the quick reply. I hope its not too bad, I find the price pretty high as is but I have to admit this is such a complete car. This is the first time I could buy a GT and not regret spending the extra coin for the SVT version.

Maybe I'm getting old but I like the idea of a 400+HP Mustang with luxury and a high tech interior.

It's not 1970 anymore. There's no need to suffer..

The rear fascia has different detailing in the lower center portion from the 2010.

I'm not saying the 05-09 is perfect, but 94-04 surely w/ MUSTANG embedded in the bumper doesn't win many fans. Truth is, it's all opinion, but there seems to be a majority opinion that 05-09 was a much better looking butt than the new ones.

what the hell why not get it started once more ey?

I agree its all opinion, but its not majority (at least on this site). When we held the poll most people either liked it or were neutral
