2011 MUSTANG ORDER GUIDE IS FINALLY HERE!!!!!
Yeah I'm not interested in the 6CD changer. I just saw that Metra kit in the "Base Stereo" thread and I'm ecstatic. I think I will forgo the Elec Pkg and grab me a nice new Pioneer/Kenwood double din. Still get to keep the Sync too!
Thanks very much for the clarification guys. Sounds good, looks like it'll be a GT premium for me this fall.
So you like the Sirius? I've never had it before so maybe it will be cool? I'm still not sure if I like the idea of paying to listen to the radio. Is Sirius expensive? Is it worth it?

If you have an iPhone/smart phone you can hook up to the car, I don't see any use for Sirius. I find Slacker/Pandora internet radio superior to Satellite radio, since you can skip songs as necessary. Now if you're using it mostly for talk/music stations that might be different.
Beware with Sirius -- it's nice, but tall buildings and heavy tree cover interrupt the signal. As do tunnels, parking garages, overpasses...pretty much anything that gets between your roof and the sky. I live in a town that has a lot of trees, and the signal is constantly cutting out. I'm not recommending against it, just noting it's primary flaw IMO.
I have Sirius now, but plan on cancelling it in the near future because I'm just done with it. It's nice, but not for what you pay, especially considering the abilities of internet radio and iPod connectivity (which I don't have right now).
each software has at least 1 error.. Maybe you can enter automatic transmission together with bremo ??.. (Shoud not work according the list)

My Trailblazer has XM and has very few problems on the same roads. Antenna is on the roof though.
It would be nice if Sirius offered short-term plans. For instance, if you don't normally do a lot of traveling and you're happy with your local stations you don't need satellite radio. But if you take a cross country trip once a year it would be nice to sign up for just a month. I looked into this. There is a $15 setup fee along with the monthly fee and to cancel it you have to call up and talk to a person, who will surely try to sell you on staying a subscriber. If it were a $5 fee and you could set it up so it would automatically expire after one month I think they'd pick up a lot of customers.
I paid the $499 life-time for my MKX... With HD radio in the '11 and potentially being able to run Pandora through my phone, I may second guess buying Sirius for the Shelby. I do enjoy a few of the stations, however. The Lifetime subscription pays for itself in 4 years vs. the yearly plan so it made sense on wifey's car. We can only agree on Sirius stations to enjoy together... Regular FM, not so much.
I agree with you there. I have a hard time keeping a signal in the tree lined roads. I think the satellite antenna is in a bad position and the car body and spoiler can block the signal.

Kona Blue w/ 401A either gets black leather with grabber blue stripe or black leather with cashmere stripe. Can't get solid black leather with the 401A (just 400A).
