Are the Oil and volt meters on the '11's actual gauges or the glorified idiot lights that we have on the '05-'09?

If they are glorified idiot lights, I could care less about them.

Volt meter always has been a working gauge. I would imagine though that the oil pressure gauge is still the same.

You got that right. I for one have all that stuff in my Escape ( nav, sync, Sirius, my color) and is more of a distraction than it is entertainning. It's SWMBO's car though. So that's why it was ordered in the first place.
