Hey guys so I finally took my 2011 mustang gt to the drag strip.
the event was CSCS at Cayuga racetrack. Now i was REALLLY nervous so I left TC all on and I screwed up a lot, didn't even know about those staging lights haha! Anyway I was up against a Acura type R and I represented us well i think

That was a pointless matchup.

What kind of times did you run?

It was my first time at the drag strip I did 3 runs, 2 were pathetic 14.2's due to alot of factors of my inexperience and etc, this one was the best at 13.3. I was just very nervous, was experimenting launch's and etc. Im happy with a 13.3 that run for my first time there!

No worries there....most of us would do the same.

I have yet to go to a dragstrip myself (to compete) but I distinctly remember nearly soiling my trousers at the starting line at my first autocross event. It's a lot of pressure and there are a lot of variables.

Sounds like you were already settling in...you'll be faster next time!

Looks like you had fun!

FWIW, if anyone has ever driven one of those Integra Type-Rs... they are super fun! Slow, but fun.

They throw snow on the track just before their runs,
it gets swept off/melts before the cars come out.

Uhhhh did you really just drag your front tires through the burnout box The evo has an excuse because its front wheel drive Poor guys behind you probably had a very slippery first 60 feet.
