what are you guys seeing for values?
27k trade in...Gotta love KBB. The dealer would have to ask $32k for the car and you can buy a new 12' for less than that.

$22-$24k seems reasonable for an 11' with that mileage.

You just have to ask around as many wanted to give me 24K for my car yet Van Bortel is giving me 26. There are some fair dealers out there.

I am waffling on selling my 2011 GT Premium - 3300 miles - anyone know what private party price is? I'm catching a lot of grief for not having the Brembro brakes...

They're just being snooty tooty brand snobs. Overkill for most all unless you're going to track it. Or buy them aftermarket if you feel the need to be a joiner rather than eat so much depreciation on trading so soon. IMO

The 3:73's will be a bit faster off the line and cause you to shift sooner compared to the 3:55's.....and the 3:73's will run a higher rpm cruising at the same speed and a bit lower top end.

3:55's are great all around gears, fun on the street with reasonable MPG and not to bad at the track......3:73's are more for performance orientated drivers and will net lower MPG at the same speed/gear..

Manual?

IMO for the '11 5.0/6spd manny tranny, the 3.55 are just about right and equivalent to the 3.73's in the 05-10 5spd.

I have the 08 4.6/5spd and the 3.73's are perfect for that engine/trans. I'm strong off the line and can complete the qtr mile in 3rd - don't have to shift into 4th (which costs seconds).

Of course your engine is bigger and faster in the qtr mile. What happens with the '11 6spd manual with 3.73's or higher, is you wind up so fast to redline in 1st and 2nd. 1st is almost like granny gear in my F150 lol. And to complete the qtr you have to shift into 4th.

You may still have to shift into 4th with the 3.55's but either way you're faster than the little 4.6. As for traffic, the 3.55's keep you from having to shift quite so fast compared to the 3.73's

Gear ratio. 3.55 and 3.73 is not far enough from each other to worry about. Unless you're drag racing. Pretty much like the Brembo question. 19 out of 20 owners will never push there car hard enough to ever need Brembos. Sales tactics for marking up prices. Just like charging more for cloth recaros than factory leather.
