2011 GT Headlight Question

2011 GT Headlight Question
I have a question about 2011 GT Headlights.
I've seen two different OEM styles for halogen headlight housings. Most appear to have bright chrome surrounding the turn signals, but there are a few with dark, black chrome.
I wonder why there is a difference and what vehicles have the black chrome version?
So, it would really help me out if you could tell me what version of headlights your Mustang has, the color of the Mustang and possibly it's trim level.
Thanks everybody!!!

By the way...
The main reason I ask is that I'm living in Japan and all Mustangs here come with HID. I like the look of the halogen housings, so my dealer retrofitted them for me. Right now I have the bright silver chrome versions installed, but I have a dark chrome version at my parents home in Michigan. I mostly want to know what the model correct version is since I have no Mustangs to compare with.
Thanks.

Originally I thought only V6 models had bright chrome. Do you think the dark chrome is standard only on black GTs?
Anybody out there have a black GT with bright silver?
I know the Laguna Seca and Roush Mustangs have silver...

Dude we are having de Ja Vu here! You already posted a thread on this before! I thought we had all this sorted out.
For 2010 & 2011 GT's the bright chrome grille pony and headlamp housing trim was standard while the black chrome package was an option. Checking the spec sheets for the 2012 models, a "gray" grille pony is now listed as standard on the GT.
All black headlamp housings with no chrome has shown up recently on 2012 Bosses and GT's.

Ah yes... I totally lost track of that thread.
I just went back to check, but it was never fully resolved. Just that it shows up on bosses sometimes.
So, it was an option package!
Now that sums it up nicely!!!
Thanks man!

I have a base with no options at all & it has dark chrome.
don't know abt '11, if they changed something?
The v6's have bright chrome, (the center stripe is textured so it appears silver) like this..
GT dark chrome
