Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes a 5.0 side stripe (just a few inches long) to match the font and letter size of the CS/GT stripe?
Adding a 5.0 badge seems ricey...

I am getting tired of answering if my ride is one of the new 5.0s.

Also has anyone manufactured a 5.0 faux gas cap for the trunk?
I'd like the folks who eat my dust to know 5.0 just passed them.


If you have any ideas, please post with pictures.

 

not too sure what you're asking? You want to remove the CS stripe and replace with an aftermarket one thats similar that says 5.0?

Or just remove the stripe and slap on some 5.0 badges. I was thinking of doing this with mine. Still on the fence.

 

Add a 5.0 striping above the CS/GT.

 

Have a local shop make it.

I like the fact that it is not marked.....they think they were beat by a 6....

 

I don't have a pic but i have had tons of compliments on the placement of the 5.0 badge on my hood buldge. No one has said it looks ricey.

Going to second the "have a local shop make it" reply. I have a fantastic vinyl shop where I am here in NJ, they do custom applications. Essentially what I would do is remove GTCS pieces off the fenders and have a shop scan it and print new ones to spec with the 5.0 on them. Of course if I had paid the extra for the GT CS package like you, I personally would enjoy the car just the way it is. Even with the 5.0 badge on mine I still get Passat's and Civic revving next to me at lights......so sad....

 

About 5" away from the bottom of the windshield/or towards the back of the hood.
