2011/12 Auto TCI Ratchet Shifter

Just an FYI, i emailed TCI on if they were doing one for the 5.0 and this is what i got ..

"Yes we are making one for the 10-11 Mustang. It is part number 619575,
although no pricing information is available yet. I don't have an ETA on
when they will be available, but I would imagine they should be coming real
soon. It's the same design as our ratchet shifter for the 05-09 Mustang"

Waste of money unless you are just hard up for something that looks different than stock.

Are you saying there is no use for one or that the TCI product is junk?

Also, must you be negative in 99% of your posts?

not waste of money, the basic functions of this make switching gears one at a time, and not blasting from 1 to D in one movement..

I'd be interested in this too if it really lets you go 1 through 6 with manual control.

It will only allow you to do what you already can which is 1, 2, 3, D. It prevents you from banging 1-3 or 2-D.

The TCI shifter works very well. The ratchet action allows you to throw the transmission into the next gear one at a time. However, I would strongly suggest an aftermarket tune for quicker shifts- to match the quickness of the shifter.

This would be good for someone with tourettes. Anyone that misses a shift with an automatic shouldn't be driving

Reviving this from the dead. I just got off the phone with TCI and was told to expect a January 2012 release date.
