I'm posting this from my iphone, but you guys can see the pics at autoblog.com. They also revealed the 2010 Flex with 355hp 3.5 TT V6 EcoBoost...

I don't think we'll see an Ecoboosted Mustang for quite awhile, unfortunately.

I bet if we do see an ecoboost Mustang it will be detuned, or they will wait until the GT has a lot more power than it's current 315!

Man, I hope you're right. This engine would be bada$# in a Mustang!

A 355hp EcoBoost Mustang would be awesome. I would have a hard time going with the V8. I am sure a simple tune and exhaust on the EcoBoost engine will have it over 400hp easily. Factory FI FTW!

I agree with 100%, that is why from a marketing standpoint they probably have to upgrade the V8 significantly. This is probably why the 10' Mustang did not get the 3.5 V6 that all the other new Fords are getting. Having a V6 within the GT's V8 power range would likely kill some GT sales. I hope we see an ecoboost V8 that was rumored a while back.

Well it has also been confirmed that a 4 cylinder Mustang is coming. In Ford's press conference at the Detroit Auto Show they said they are committed to having a version of their fuel efficient 4 cylinder engines in every car and crossover in their lineup, probably by 2013. Also confirmed are a commercial battery electric powered vehicle (Transit) for 2010 and a BEV sedan for 2011, as well as plug in hybrids. Ford is becoming the leader in fuel efficiency in every new car or truck they release...SVO back on anyone??

Maybe they come out with the V6 Eco in the Mustang when they pull the cover off the new 5.0L?? Debut the new Eco I-4 in an SVO...that would be sweet!!

Whatever they do, I hope they do it soon! Mustang should have state of the art engines, IMHO...
