Here's also some pics of another conversion project called...RSC-BOSS 302, which is currently in the prototype stage..

The website says the kit includes composite body panels and fiberglass hood, not steel. Also they list a 40th anniversary edition and a 1969 retro edition - I guess that is the one in the latter pictures. Anyone know what one of these cars costs??

why too many retro parts in those cars. I would like if they did a modern inturpritation but not them grafting 1960's parts on 2007 cars.

The kit including composite body panels, in which the website is referring to.. Is for their 08 RSC-GT edition.

However, I clearly stated...The body panels for the 68GT500 version, along with their 69 RSC-BOSS 302 edition. Are full steel body conversions.

Their 40th anniversary Bullitt edition, will also be.. a full steel body conversion as well..

Here's a nice chop on the one shown earlier. Certainly taking a few inches of height out helps.

Amazing car, but I've always wondered - why the non-functioning air scoops over the 1/4 windows?

cause it looks cool. and in 1967 you couldn't really see though those vents anyway so didn't really matter if you covered them up.

I do like them, as they're unique to the Mustang, but I prefer the '69/'70 side window treatment as it emphasizes the hips more.

Am I the only one who sees this similarity in the rear quarter lines?

If there are hips, they don't look as defined as they do on the non-Ford effort.

Hips aside, I keep thinking I almost see the 69 style qtr scoop under that camo.

Maybe it's just me, but under all that camo..I can't really see an actual hip, but more of a flared fender/quarter panel.

Hello, if you'd like to see the finished Retrobuilt RSC-500 go to Retrobuilt.com, any input would be appreciated, and yes, it is an all steel panel rebody that should be available in kit form by summer...Thanks, Tony

Major freshening of the 'stang; new design for 2010; a 'brand-new' Taurus for 2009 or 2010; upgraded F-150; new concepts - at least Ford hasn't thrown in the towel. I hope these changes are as successful as the 'new' Mustanf and Fusion, Edge, etc.
