was driveing back from Naryland with the wife and she folded her sunvisor down and it fell off. After giveing her some light harted chatter about breaking my car and carefull there hercules! Further investigation revealed the plastc piece the screws into the top of the windsheild was broken internally and no longer holds the metal rod. I called the dealer and told him i needed the plastic peice for the sunvisor and after a day or 2 I got the clip for the other side. He saw the peice i needed and said I would have to order a whole new visor at about 350.00.
Now im thinking junkyard. A quick internet search found a yard in stevens city VA with a visor and hardware for 90.00 with shipping. Did you guys know the mounting hardware for the ragtop is different from the hardtop? I do now.... So now im looking for a passinger side sunvisor with mounting hardware for a 2010 ragtop. I have a hardtop one for sale or trade if anyone is interested.
