2010 Question, what's it called?
Hey guys, i have been browsing around and cant find any specifics, is the 2010 still an S197? any chassis changes? or was it just an exterior upgrade?

Sure, it has to be S197. Same basic car, regardless of exterior styling changes.

It's every bit as S197 as the '99 was SN95.

Yes.. just like the SN95 which started from 1994 until 2004.. in 2 shapes but the same platform: 1994 until 1998 and 1999 until 2004

The S197 started from 2005 and will last until 2014.. again in 2 shapes and the same platform 2005 until 2009 and 2010 until 2014 (I think)

I believe the S197 lasts till 2013 model year, as the 2014 is the all new GRWD platform we have heard about. At least that is what has been said by Igor on BON.

How about a nick name?

94-98 SN-95 - Round Body
99-04 SN-95 - New Edge

You could call the 10+ S197 a "new edge" but then what would you call the 05-09?
