2010 Mustang GT cabin air filter?

I called "O'Reilly's" auto parts and they said the cabin air filter was $15, "AutoZone" auto parts said the 2010 doesn't have a cabin air filter, the Ford dealer didn't know what I was talking about, does the 2010 Mustang GT have a cabin air filter or no?

Yes it definitely does have one. Good idea to change it if it has been a while.

I guess I should not be surprised that the Ford dealer was clueless. Maybe if you showed them the page in the owner's manual where it says you need to change it, they would get a clue. I think it might even have the part number in the manual, not sure.

Definitely not the easiest cabin air filter to change. If anything it's one of the more pain in the butt filters with all that cowl removal crap. The standard and far more common "behind the glove box" cabin air filter that you find on most other cars is far easier to change. Takes about 30 seconds as opposed to the Mustang which features those crappy plastic rivets that you have to use an interior panel pry bar to get out.

it is not a big deal to remove the cowl cover. I got mine from my dealer, but you can also go to rockauto.com or ebay

It's a crappy design. The thing is also notorious for holding water and ultimately leaking into the interior of the car.
