2010 Mustang Gets New Pony
I really like the shape...but What is with the color?....Im not a fan!
Uh, the pony is always updated with every new model. It was changed in 1994, 2005, and again now in 2010. Its part of the tradition.
Actually, the 2010 has more defined sharper features, like the original 1964 1/2 than the "smooth" look of the 2005-09:

I'l say it again there is no reason to change or update an iconic symbol. Most people just like change just to see something new. There is true beauty in the horse thats been running wild since 65. A true classic should remain true period! Nothing is sacred anymore what a joke.

Have you read one response to your whining yet? It has already changed multiple times before now. Deal with it.
Look how many times the Tbird emblem changed over the generations... They were all beautiful and represented the form and design language of each incarnation... The Mustang pony has not changed all that much over the years but the changes have been subtle. The 2010 really makes it edgier and more defined so it's the most changed. Also, lets not forget the pony that appeared on the 2004 Concept Car. It was interesting as an outline silhouette but I simply did not want to see it replace the full on chrome pony.

Thanks for the link Brad! Man I HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS CAR!
I don't dislike it.
To me it looks like a well fed horse. More rounded, meatier. I'm not sure that translates to muscular.
The other which is more like the original, looks more like a wild 'Mustang' lean and mean.

It’s just a faster-looking steed,” said George Saridakis, Design manager for the 2010 Mustang

Although I think Ford should not change the classical logo that came with the 1st Mustang in 1964, I must admit.. the 2010 pony logo is really nice
At least they are not changing the basic design of the pony logo.. some touches will not hurt
