2010 Lowering Springs
Has anyone installed Roush Mustang extreme lowering springs on their 2010 ? I would be interested in hearing opinions about them or other springs that drop the front 1"and the rear 1.25".
I do feel the 10 needs to be lowered but I would like to do it comfortably without the need for an additional shock package. This is a daily driver and will never see any track time.

The lower you go, typically the higher the spring rate will go which will increase the need for shocks/struts.
The regular Roush springs are designed to work with the stock dampers and a bit less of a drop (and probably what Branman is looking for), but the extremes are meant to go lower.
To really get a "factory soft" but lowered ride, I really would look at a street coilover. It is harder to make it low and soft since suspension travel is reduced (necessitating a higher spring rate to keep off the bump-stops). Many coilovers will have shorter shock/strut bodies or other features to keep the travel pretty much the same, which usually means they can run softer springs, which usually equates to softer ride. Plus, the better (and matched) dampers control the springs a bit better, making for a bit smoother ride.
Now, if you don't run it very hard, and don't have sticky tires, you could probably get away with the Roush extreme springs and keep the stock dampers for awhile (maybe a long while) and then upgrade the shocks later if you wish (or need to). However, I personally have not done that.

They say they are for 07-09 but they work for the 2010 GT500. I don't think they'll work on a GT though.

oh i forgot to mention that i also have the Eibach front and rear sway bars with the kit and i added QA1 12 way adjustable shocks to the rear, not only is the car fast it really feels fast with this setup.

Got the whole Roush Mustang extreme lowering kit installed now. It is made to work with the stock dampers and really does a great job. The stance is better, the ride is firmer but still very comfortable, and the car handles much better . There were no alignment issues front or rear. I'd rate them as 3 stars out of 3 !

The more I drive it the more I like it ! When I did Steeda Ultra Lites on my 05 the look was great but the ride was harsh.I don't think I have lost any of Ford's improvements with the Roush springs.
