2010 GT Rearend morphed from 2008 Bullitt
OK
Maybe I am beating a dead horse, but I made this overlay animation of the 2008 & 2010 Mustang rearends so people could better compare and then that out of control thread was closed...
That sucks. What a waste of time.
So here it is...

So not.
The behind parts look too big, the lights look pinched, the thing at the bottom is hideous. The only saving grace is the wider stanced exhaust and the faux cap. That's it.
But then, that'd be my opinion, which says 05-09 rear FTW.

Honestly the more I see the 2 Together the Older the 05-09's are beginning to Look. I'll put it this way, it's not like the difference of going from a 66 to a 67, it's more like going from a 66 to a 69. Like they jumped Ahead a Generation. I Like It. I Am Still Voting 2010.
Although I would have liked to have seen either an 05-09 With a Spoiler Morph into the 2010 or The Bullitt into the 2010 Without a Spoiler.

Nice work, but I think it would have been a better comparision if you had used a 2010 without the spoiler. It makes the rear deck of the 2010 look much higher in comparison since the Bullitt is spoilerless. The 2010 rear is growing on me slowly, but I just cannot get past the black plastic at the bottom, it just looks cheap.

Those are the big pictures I had.
In order to do this right you would need two nice high resolution photos, one of each car from the SAME perspective. I don't have that...

Why post that in his comparison thread? (No need to reply to this post directly. Just think about it . . . . )

it really seems that you either hate the rear or love it to death. at least not too many are complaining about the front of the car. that seems to be good for everyone. yes, it is different but how many times have we seen this for the mustang. first major change was from 68 to 69, they are totally different. then from 70 to 71, now that was a BIG difference. then we went from boat to roller skate with the 74. again in 79 a totally different look, which IMO was the plainest looking mustang out.(or should i say at least when they removed the mustang pony from the car.) then in 94 the major change and also in 05, so you see there has been change in all years, some like it some dont. we can still say they are mustangs. times and technology change and we get more advanced cars. if someone offered me a fox body for a great price and was in imaculate shape i dont think i would turn it down, but look at it as a part of history. we all love the car for what it is and what it stands for. both young and old can appreciate what they have because both are part of history to be passed down from generation to generation. the love of the mustang will never die as long as we relish the history behind the car. change is always that, change. some might be better than others but we still develop the love for the car. one day i will own this bodystyle and one day i will own a classic. the love for the mustang is there deep inside. a passion that will never die. no matter how long they make the mustang.

The stock 05-09 GT's have slant cut exhaust tips. The Bullit has a Bullit edition exhaust system and completely different mufflers than that of the standard GT. In addition to that, the GT/CS featured a slanted rolled exhaust tip which was different than the standard GT's unrolled or polished tips

Yeah, I realize that. I was just commenting on the Bullitt tips, which are straight cut if I'm not mistaken. It was really evident in that morph animation.
BTW, the Boomtubes that I'm buying are also slant-cut, which I really like.
