2010 gt premium 51k miles

No they aren't. On my local road course there is a guy with a V6 and we are about even in the corners but I am faster on the straights, noticeably.
Each to his own and I am not knocking the new V6; I almost bought one. But for the same money in the same condition I'd take the 4.6 V8 for sure. Newer V6 for the same money might tip me toward the V6.

Mine doesn't even has a tune and will blow a V6 by bus lengths

I was told numerous times by some board members here that I do indeed own a 2010GT... You may very well remember that conversation

About 45k
To be fair the problems I had are not typical of '10s
1. The sway bar snapped.
2. The rack and pinion steering had to be replaced.
3. Had a rear shock that was leaking
4. Transmission mounts were loose causing ratttling under throttle.
5. The AC made clicking noises.

Not with the power band of the 3.7 and 7k rpm red line. Its a drivers race between the two but all things exactly equal, the 4.6 may come out maybe 1/10 second faster. That's a maybe but I like the 4.6 very much.
It was just another option for the OP, being that a 3.7 will be equal or darn near equal in performance compared to a 10 Gt.

I understand the performance is supposed to be close, but I drove them side by side and then the decision was easy. . . . and the sound track of the V8 is worth at least a couple thousand bucks!

On paper maybe, OK If you say so . . . . but how come I have to lift to avoid hitting his bumper on the main straight? (waiting for that point-by that did not come . . . )

There could be a lot of factors on why your car is faster on the straight away over the 3.7. The sound track of the V8 is definitely better sounding. Can't disagree and debate you on that point.
What power mods and gears do you have? What power mods and gears does the 3.7 have that you race?

Do you have automatic or manual? What did the 3.7's have? It can be a drivers race because the performance is very evenly matched.

So what gearing did the three stock 3.7's you race have because I know they did not have 3:55's. They either had 2:73 gears or 3:31 gears if you raced a 3.7 with the performance pack. The gearing is very important!

I had a '14 V6 and I love it. I traded it in with only 2500 miles and they gave me 20k for it. I found out that they only sold it for 17k (I made out well). I only traded it in because I got a ridiculous deal on my '15 GT! Good luck in your shopping!
