2010 Cut-off date?
It usually take abt 4-6 wks from order to production and that would leave all of Feb open
About it going through? The dealership personal who is in charge of orders is the one who will know before anyone else, as he can check both the printout sheets they get, and also Vehicle Visibility for updates. What they should do, is call their Ford rep and ask for this car to get "pulled". Do you know what priority they gave you? Do you have a DORA?
I know that '10 GT500's are now balanced out for the year already, hopefully a few more '10 GT's can squeeze through for those that need them. I personally stopped ordering '10 Mustangs about 2 months ago and our last new '10's will arrive this week. I did not want to be stuck with new '10's when the '11's start production.

Now I'm praying for big incentives from Ford to clear out the '10's. We've already whacked '10 Mustang pricing way below MSRP (many below invoice, as well). Those considering a new Mustang will find some awesome bargains on the remaining 4.6L GT's just about anywhere now.
We had a wholesale meeting recently and our Ford rep really wanted us to take a bunch of 2010 Mustangs. We told them no way, and we took zero. Our last wave of 2010's just arrived this morning and I know I have more than my guys can sell before the '11's get here. No V6's (we don't sell many, so I don't stock them), but I've got several TrackPacks and a bunch of GT coupes & verts.

Don't worry yourself. There will BE incentives by the time the car arrives!!! Either more rebates or 0% APR for 5-years to help sell off the remaining 2010s!
Should be very easy to find new '10 GT's in the $25K-$29K just about anywhere. Maybe low $30's for better equipped ones.
Looks like Ford will be sitting on them for some time. I don't see a base 2011 GT coupe being that much more expensive.
or for 25 - 30k for a 2010 GT, id rather have a 2011 V6 for probably less with the same power.

Yeah, that's a good point. Ford may be competing with itself in the spring of 2010. It makes me wonder what my 2008 GT would bring when I trade it in?

Right now they have $2000 rebate & 0% for 36mo. That with x-plan makes a GT Coupe start at 25,429. If you find one sitting on the lot for a while prob even less.
Im in the same boat you are in. The best trade offer on an 08 GT i could get from a dealer this fall was 20K. Mine is a premium auto with only 3800mi on it. Going to be interesting this spring.
