I did a search and found lots of hits for tail light, buit none for non working, so sorry if there is a thread burried.

Any how brake lights, turn signals and hazards all work, but the night time running lights do not. Replaced the stock switch with new oem from dealer thinking it would be a quick and easy fix. Nope!

Everything works as before, but the problem still exists.
Nighttime running tail lights are still out.
Is there a separate fuse for the running lights?
Anyhelp?

 

In the owners manual, fuse 22 (15 amp) states it is used for "parking lamps and license lamps. Are the front parking lamps and license lamps illuminated?

 

I looked it up and yes it is fuse 22. replaced it and they work. Only problem is it started smoking under the hood and quickly blew the fuse!

Guess ill be chasing the wires to see where it is exposed.
Does anyone have a wiring guide to make it easier to identify which wires i should start with?
