Rear louver is attached by 8 hex nuts as shown. They simply screw off and the louver detaches for cleaning. The sides are attached with MMDs locking Loop system. Stronger than Velcro IMO.
Before I attach both the sides and rear louvers I give the windows a thorough RainX..treatment. Just spray em off with a hose pipe and I'm good to go... I plan to take em off for cleaning and retreatment every other month.
