Does Colorado salt? Road salt corrodes metal like no other. I wouldn't mind the snow so much, but the salt is what I avoid.

Yup, Blizzaks on all 4 corners.

Lots of salt on the roads here, which is why I told the dealer I wanted the undercoat before I picked it up. I asked them to put it up on a lift so I could inspect it before I left the lot, and they did a great job. I intend to wash it every time the temps get above freezing this winter.

He's got a lift and puts it up every time he drives it and hoses it off in his garage each night. I should have mentioned that this friend of mine is blessed with a stupid amount of money and has the ability to do such things.

I'm in Colorado and they do salt the roads, but it's not as bad as the stuff they use out east... Although, CDOT did just switch over to a formula that is more similar to the east, which people are not happy about, but they say it has an "anti-corrosion" element to it (which just means it won't rust *as* fast)... That's what they use for the highways and the city, but in my town, it's still a sand type mixture, which isn't *as* bad... Still though, I don't drive the Mustang in the snow (for many reasons)...

Indeed. They work awesome though I have to say.

Been a pretty darn busy 2500 miles:

-Oil change/rotation/etc ("The Works" package)
-Brake job
-Both puddle lamps replaced under warranty
-Hood corrosion done under warranty
-Golf ball dent removed from back edge of hood during hood corrosion repair (in about the only spot PDR wouldn't work)
-New tires
-Alignment

Still need to get wiper blades and the airbag recall done, but still no ETA on airbag parts as of today.

Mine as it's currently sitting, since I was under it adjusting the upper control arm:

Meh, people drove rear wheel drive cars almost exclusively for about 8 decades. This is my 7th RWD car and I've never ended up in an accident or even in a ditch or snowbank.

I'd rather be in a RWD car with a limited slip and snow tires than an AWD/4x4 with crappy all season tires.

Tires >>> drive wheels, all day long

Right! Some Mustangs are fast and have big motors. Sometimes making them not an idea winter car. Mainly because horsepower and wide tires don't exactly make for good street cars. I drive mine in the winter but only if the streets are not frozen or wet.

Back on the ground, I took it up and down the road a bit today ...... which just made me wish that the roads were drier/cleaner so that I could've taken it out for a while ...

Very true. I absolutely love having a garage, and unlike many people that stuff theirs with crap, we actually use it.
One of the top priorities when we were looking for a house was that it had to have a 2-car garage ... and they do look good side by side in there
