Great pic Darren!

I autocrossed the car today, along with my fiancee and her Shelby.

Took some pics of course.

During safety check:

Waiting to run, my car and my fiancee's Shelby:

Got some video of the runs, I don't have them edited yet, I'll post them once I do.

Thanks Gabe. I see you did some preventative bandaging I'm sure you had a blast!

Thanks Rocky, we did.
The GoPro camera takes some nice videos but the sound leaves a lot to be desired.
The first videos I made with it, a couple years ago, didn't have the wind noise issues I'm having now, not sure what changed, but it's driving me crazy.
Putting the sound aside, the video itself is still pretty cool.
This was my quickest actual run of the day, an 85.96-second run, but I got hit with a 2-sec penalty for taking out 1 cone, so it became 87.96

Yes, the tires gave me huge grip.
The event was in Ayer, MA, at Fort Devens.

Playback the video and sound through your PC or home theater system Gabe.. The sound quality should be much better..

I think your time of 87.96 was really good and you only took out one cone, so all in all, you did pretty well IMO.. Congrats

I played it back on my laptop, still lots of wind noise.
I'll try to mount it on the inside of the windshield next time, or just sell the GoPro and get a good mount for my phone, and record with my phone which takes HD video.

Sean - fyi, I'm on page 2 of your big thread. Sorry it's taking me a while.

What shocked me was - the Ford "OEM" parts being made in China.... like that sprocket.

Not a '10-'14 but your cars namesake. She's an extremely rare multi-mission combat vet...and I'm proud to have her under my care. Spent last week at Oshkosh with her.

I included an old picture of my car just to keep the thread on task and bickering of off topic pictures to minimum.

Edit...REALLY old...pre-lowered!
