Kinda quiet when cruising at 1500, as soon as you slightly increase from 1500-2500 it gets quite throaty, at 3000 gets real raspy but still a bit throaty and nice. 4500+ its screaming like a race car lol. catless orx and LT's

Also You picked the perfect rims for your cars color, id love to see that thing just driving around lol.

Thanks. My car is 100% stock. I just put it for sale this morning in the FOR SALE section of this forum, if interested.

Few recent ones, including my high rpm induced gold tips. I used to fight it and polish them with blue magic, now I just embrace it.

I'm really not happy about the compromise I had to do to get the rears to fit with the 305/35 tires on them, and not have the tires rub the fenders over bumps.
The car sits at almost stock height in the rear to allow enough room for the tire not to rub.
I want the car to sit low again the way it used to.
She handled better and certainly looked better with the as$ lower.

Perhaps consider 295-35-20 or 295-40-20 Nitto G2's Gabe

Yeah 295's would probably eliminate the rub , but I don't think there are any drag radials available in 295/35/20

For the past 5 months I've been busy modding under the hood but have been too lazy to post lol so I thought I would share the latest pics with you guys.

Here was my starting point, a nice stock GT engine bay

I purchased some paint matched coil covers from the nice folks at JLT Performance in Deep Impact Blue

I then added the mirror polished stainless steel lettering kit from Emblem Pros.

The lettering kit definitely set the coil covers off and made them pop. Also seen is a Bob's Ultimate oil separator in silver powder coat.

After lots and lots of thought about a custom paint scheme for the engine cover, I had JLT create this beauty. DIB center section and accent stripes, hydrocarbon graphics on the perimeter, Ingot Silver trim, and clear coat on top. There are so many ways to tape off the engine cover and contrast colors, it's enough to make your head spin.

Came out absolutely gorgeous. The plan was to use the hydrocarbon to break up the DIB to DIB transition from the coil covers to the engine cover.

Next up I bought a really nice Roush billet engine cap set in an anodized/polished combo.

Next up, more JLT sexiness with a smooth DIB radiator cover and fuse box cover with GT/CS graphic and clear on top. I also picked up a TruFiber carbon fiber coolant tank cover from them. I also added an Airaid modular intake tube and deleted the sound tube.

For a unique custom touch, I contacted a company called Rebadge Designs and had them create a one off domed gel "GT/CS" decal to replace the yellow Airaid decal. To tie the whole theme together, I went with real carbon fiber, blue text, and chrome surround.

Here's the finished engine bay. Came out better than I had hoped for!

Today I went to a decent sized show at a local dealer. Gary Lang Auto Group's 19th Annual Made in the USA Classic Car Show. It was a hot and muggy 95 degree day but I had a great time. Lots of cool cars in attendance under a slew of judged classes. I met and talked to a lot of cool people.

I ended up taking 1st place in the 1980-Present Mustang class. I have never won or placed in any show before so it was a huge surprise. Super stoked!
