One method I use that helps quite a bit is distilled water. I use a sprinkler can and about 3 gallons then dry with a blower. I get the water from Walmart cheap.
I never thought of that...it might be worth a try. Water spots make me nuts when I'm not planning a waxing with my DA buffer.
Sick car man. Unless you have a tune for 94 octane.... that 94 fuel youre getting from Petro is not the one. 91 v power is the way to go. Its pure gasoline and will actually make you more power. No ethanol and none of tactrol crap.
I have a 94 octane tune. The 94 is from Chevron not Petro and also ethanol free. Even with the adaptive stock tune in my GT500 it ran better with 94 than the 10% ethanol 91. I'm not a rookie at this game. I've been building and driving hi performance cars for over 35 yrs. But thanks for the advice. Lol
You can build an inline filter that will help filter out all of the minerals in the water to help prevent water spots. I don't have a HUGE issue with it so I never really looked into it but there are filtration systems out there that you can give a go if you are so inclined.

We dont even have Chevron in Ontario. 94 octane no ethanol sounds like the one.
Got a new Hotchkis strut bar from my dad for Christmas. Don't mind the dirty engine bay. I need to clean the whole car. My car didn't come with one from the factory, so I've been wanting to get one for a while. Maybe it is a placebo effect, but car felt a little more stable today driving it.

Nope, all cars with 19" wheels and/or convertibles.
Interesting. I just ingested the 2014 sales catalogue and there is no written reference to the tower bar.
I did find this sidebar photo though and it shows pics of an SGM coupe with 18" wheels but it seems to imply that it has the TP. The RR coupe is shown with the Brembo Pkg, and the center photo shows the strut tower bar, as if to indicate that either of those packages would be equipped with it.
If so, then it would be available with 18" wheels and the TP. But who knows how accurate the brochures are?
However, it seems you're on the mark regarding the convertible. Mine doesn't have the Brembos, but does have the strut bar.
Yeah I understand that, I just wanted to refute the phrase "Just the GT Premium came with the bar" because I know the track pack and brembo cars came with them. So we've determined all GT Premiums, Track Pack, Brembo cars, and GT Verts have the STB standard?

The print is wrong, or unclear. For sure, the STB came on all 2010+ coupes with 19" wheels, whether they had the optional 19" options, GT/CS package, or BBP/TP, and then the STB came on all convertibles regardless of wheel choice.
That picture does clearly depict a non-BBP GT with the standard GT 18" 5-spokes. Can't gel if it's Premium or not, but I guarantee you the STB was not included as standard with the Premium package.
Mine is a 2013 GT with the 401a interior. I don't have brembos, and I do have 18" wheels. I thought mine was a premium, since I have the leather and the upgraded interior, but I guess not if the premiums came with the strut bar. I'm second owner on the car, so I didn't really get to see what packages were included on the window sticker.

The base GT has a cloth interior. All GT Premiums have leather, and only a Premium could be upgraded to the 401A package. Therefore, you have a GT Premium.
How about some pics of yours....including the interior?
