Nice! But we're going to need a better picture(s) than a dark garage pic with flash!

Lol ..... friend's place, almost closing time, pretty much empty parking lot, and that side of the building is usually for employee parking - only one other car was there, his Mother's.

Same here. I got to take her out last week to get some coffee, but since then, it's had to stay in the garage... Yesterday, we got dumped on, rain and hail... Thank God for being safely stored in the garage...

Next weekend, we're driving to Kansas/Missouri and I keep going back and forth on whether or not to take the Mustang. I don't mind the rain (cause it *will* get rained on), but more worried about possible hail (It'll be parked outside for 4 nights)...

You never know when it will hail man. The only time there is 0% chance for hail is when there is 0% chance for rain.

Even then, here, it still might hail! LOL!

I know... Unless the weather report is super crappy, I'll probably take it... It needs to stretch its legs anyway (it only has 6k miles and 1800 of that was when I drove it from CA to CO last August, which was mostly rain)...

Jay, exactly.

My DD got hailed on actually, Monday. But luckily it was less than golf ball and no damage. There's nothing we can do about it though, you know? Especially when I'm at work and have to take a vehicle My company doesn't have covered parking.

As for getting rained, and "will" get rained on, NEVER! Marilyn has never and will never see rain... the worst she'll see is some clouds

I am lucky that I work from home AND that my Mustang is my "fun car", so it rarely sits outside... We have a Mini and a Ranger that see's daily duty for my wife's job. The hail we got yesterday was just pea sized, so no damage to the Ranger (who right now, lives outside)...

I was on the "no rain" bandwagon until my trip last year from CA! But I picked THE WORST day to drive back apparently, cause I hit rain in Nevada and it didn't let up until Colorado! I figured, by coming out in the middle of summer, I would have a better shot at avoiding the rain... Mother Nature said, yeah, I don't think so... LOL!

My car has never seen a winter. Rain is another story. I will never purposely take my Mustang out in the rain, but if I get caught in it that is another story and clearly out of my control. Cars are meant to be driven and enjoyed. I chuckle at some of the listings I see for cars that are 5 or more years old and have under 5K miles. I think why did you even buy the car? So I check the radar just before leaving. To be completely honest I would still do this even if my car cost 14X more than it. If it less than 60% chance of rain the mustang comes out. The other day it was forecasted to have 90% chance of rain for most of the day. Radar showed nothing for 3 states so I took it to work and it was sunny until 9pm when the sun set. Weather guessers were totally wrong that day, as they are most days.

I think we covered that question a few posts/threads back. People have their own reasons for buying certain things, and how they treat them. Whether they drive it, store it, detail it, etc. Whatever they do to it to make them happy, they have the right to do. If I choose to buy a 10,000 Kia, and choose to garage it and put less than 5k miles in 5 years, but it makes me happy doing so, who is anyone to tell me I can't?

^ that's not my situation, as I drive my pony somewhat more... lol.

But you get the idea. Joy means different things to different people. To each their own.

Yep.

Circumstances for me have been weird for the past couple years (moved a couple times, had the car in storage for about 5 months, active construction going on around my house due to buying a new home build) which have all contributed to me not driving the car as much as I want to. I LOVE driving the car, that's not the issue, but I hate having to clean it after every drive (either due to dirt, or bugs, or whatever), but I like to keep it clean, so I end up only taking it out only every once in a while... Add on top of that, that its been raining like a ***** here over the past few months, and while I don't mind if the car gets caught in the rain, its been raining at least 4-5 times a week (not the normal afternoon showers, but heavy rain), so it has really limited my opportunities to take her out! CA may be in a drought, but I do miss being able to take my car out in the summer and not get rained on right about now! LOL!
