Nice vids Mikey! So, the GoPro is set to record from your suction cup mount on the inside of the car, but the mic you have set up outside the car via suction cup again? Where is the mic located? lower rear bumper?

btw, your set up of headers, Corsas, off road H pipe, and whipple sounds great! Got any vid of the exhaust revving or drive by? Am thinking about headers some day, but I worry it will be too loud. My Corsa Extremes with X pipe sounds perfect now...

From an outside perspective, I could hear his car from about a 1/4 mile away when I was drinking at a bar patio a month ago and saw Michael's car. I think it was a late night Chipotle run if I'm not mistaken

 

The GoPro is mounted with the suction cup mount and I ran the external mic out of the trunk and taped it to the plastic just below the license plate. So far that's the best spot I've found. At the end of the casual driving video I rev it once I'm parked in the driveway... I plan on getting some different videos when I find some time, I'll make sure to post them up.

 

Definitely a Chipotle run!

 

Mikey... any concern with the inrush/flow of air around the mic, messing up the audio? That always concerns me with the GoPro, camera, etc.... thoughts?

 

Washed, clay, polish, and waxed my car over 3 days, had to get a pic before it gets dirty again.

Just stay on top of it and it makes it all easier. I detail every other car ride. Plus, she's garaged and I only take her out once in a while on great sunny days.

I don't think there's a lot of air flow right up against the rear bumper... I think it picked up the sound pretty nicely, you should have heard it when it was lower on the diffuser! I'm more concerned that the sound is distorted due to volume.
